One bursary per year up to $4,000 is available to assist one coach with a swimmer competing on a Swimming Canada National Team for which they are not selected as a staff member.
* Applicants awarded CSCTA bursaries will take the lowest priority. There may be more than one bursary in year four of the Peak Performance cycle.
Two coaches will attend an international conference with the Provincial Coach. The program is split into three streams, one attended by each coach. The team meets each day to discuss lectures and a short synopsis including three key takeaways is written about each stream for dissemination to Swim Alberta coaches. Two grants of up to $3000 are available.
Three bursaries per year up to a maximum of $2,500 to assist coaches with their continuing professional development as agreed with the Provincial Coach.
Coaches are eligible to receive up to 50% to attend NCCP Swimming Course and/or Evaluation Fees for NCCP Level 2 and above.

Above and Beyond – A one time grant offered by the Province of Alberta for education opportunities.
Stacey Levitt Memorial Scholarship - Available to five (5) women per year, apply from April 1 to May 31.
WISE Fund (Women in Sport Encouragement Fund) – Grants of $900 to women in sport.
Dr. Jeno Tihanyi Memorial Bursary – Swimming Canada bursary to fund high performance coach and swimmer tandems.
