The World Aquatics A standard is a time standard required for qualification to the World Aquatics Championships.  Para swimmer recognition is based on qualification for the Paralympics or the Para Swimming World Championships.

The Watchlist is a tool to identify and monitor athletes who meet or are approaching performance benchmarks, enabling targeted tracking, support, and alignment with long-term development pathways.

This award is to recognize the coach who has the largest number of swimmers on the Swim Alberta Watchlist from the prior season.

This award is to recognize the coach who has the largest number of swimmers who achieved the Youth Recognition time standards during the prior season, including both Winter and Summer Festivals and Provincial Championships.

This award is to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to coaching, athlete development or club development during their career.  This award will only be awarded once to a coach throughout their coaching career.
