Coach Investment Program The Coach Investment Program provides financial support for International Experiences, National Team Activities, Program Visitations, and Para Swimming. Other projects may be considered. Coach Requirements Minimum NCCP Level 1: Fundamentals Coach Certified. Swim Alberta/Swimming Canada coach member in good standing. Currently coaching with a Swim Alberta affiliated club in good standing. Eligibility Applications are assessed on merit and in alignment with Swim Alberta’s objectives. Priority to innovative, creative projects showing initiative and self-support. Eligible projects may include international experiences, national team activities, and program visitations. NCCP Advanced Coach Diploma is eligible; other NCCP courses are not. Application Process Apply online at least 60 days before project start. Swim Alberta reviews all applications; decisions are sent to the coach and club president. Required Documents Cover Letter – Clear description of the proposed project. Letter of Support – From club president, confirming support and outlining club financial contribution. Budget – Detailed cost breakdown (e.g., airfare, accommodation, meals, mileage) and other funding sources (personal, club, or agencies). Reporting & Commitments Submit a report and financial summary within 30 days of project completion. May be asked to present at a coach information session. Swim Alberta may audit expenses.
