Purpose: To deliver distance (aerobic development) training opportunities that supports the swimmer development pathway as identified in Swimming Canada’s Distance Swimming Strategy (DSS) and in partnership with Swimming Canada.

2025-2026 Stroke Development Camps

Purpose: To deliver specific stroke development for the Swim Alberta Provincial Team Watchlist (OLY) swimmers to continue to support their progression.

  • Swimmers on the Watchlist must be registered and active with a Swim Alberta affiliated club and training in Alberta.
  • Swim Alberta Provincial Team Watchlist swimmers can attend any camp for the strokes they qualified for on the Watchlist.
    • Swimmers who have made the Watchlist for multiple strokes being offered at the same camp can select which stroke they would like to participate in.

  • We are kindly asking coaches who are interested in leading a Stroke Development Camp to complete the Declaration of Interest using this link.
  • Please note, the Stroke Development Camps are open to all Watchlist coaches to attend.
