Competition Pools In order to be approved for competition, facilities must provide a pool survey to Swim Alberta. The survey must meet the requirements as outlined in the Facility Rules and Guidelines of Swimming Canada and must be completed by a licensed Alberta Land Surveyor. Additionally, all training facilities must meet these rules and guidelines. Swim Alberta has developed a Facility Information & Design document in order to support communities looking to build new aquatic facilities. Swimming Canada also has facility resources available.
