Approved Competition Pools

In order to be approved for competition, facilities must provide a survey to Swim Alberta. The survey must include the information required by the
Facility Rules and Guidelines of Swimming Canada and must be completed by a licensed Alberta Land Surveyor.

Stantec has partnered with Swim Alberta to provide discounted survey’s. It is not required that clubs/communities used Stantec, but the option is available through this partnership. Contact Stantec

Swim Alberta has developed a Facility Information & Design document in order to support communities looking to build new aquatic facilities. All facilities approved for competition and training must meet the facility rules and guidelines of Swimming Canada. For questions or more information please contact Swim Alberta.

Facilities eligible to host competitions are listed below and have provided a current facility survey that has been approved by Swim Alberta. Pools that undergo major renovations with respect to diving height (starting blocks), pool depth, tile replacement (pool length) or location of backstroke flags will be required to submit an updated survey to remain eligible to host competitions.
