Masters Racing Unplugged

The Swim Alberta Masters ‘Racing Unplugged’ Series

Swim Alberta is offering a ‘racing unplugged’ competition for registered masters swimmers, which is a virtual racing opportunity for the fall. The virtual race will include masters age group rankings as well as club rankings. Swimmers can race any event with no limit on the number of events swum. In addition to the virtual race, clubs are encouraged to challenge other clubs to informal virtual challenges. (e.g. 50 kick for time). If required, a second virtual racing opportunity will be offered during the winter.

The dates to compete in each virtual race are listed below. Rankings will be posted approximately one week after each closing date.

Draw prizes will be awarded for participating masters swimmers.

Guidelines:  Swimmers must have a legal start, stroke, turn and finish; this may include a dive from the block, edge, or a push off.  Practice and/or competition results may be used.

Eligibility:  To be eligible for the Masters Racing Unplugged Series, swimmers must be a fully registered masters swimmer with Swim Alberta.

Submission of Results: An email communication will be sent to all clubs to outline the result submission process.
