Additionally, the introduction of specific TEAM ALBERTA protocols and the potential for a dual meet racing opportunity, depending on the time of year, are likely to be included. The overarching goal is to provide a distinct uplift in experience beyond a normal daily training environment. ASPIRE ALBERTA CAMPTo provide opportunities for training, race preparation & analysis, and competition (dependent upon the time of year) so as to expose aspiring swimmers to the level of expectation required to compete internationally. Focus will be on skill race analysis under pressure. The overarching goal is to provide a distinct uplift in experience beyond a normal daily training or typical racing environment. PARA CAMPCamps will have a classification opportunity, a grassroots para swimmer session, coach education and a training session for classified swimmers.
PAN-PROVINCIAL OPEN WATER CAMP & COMPETITIONAn open water training and racing development opportunity. Swimmers and coaches will participate in a ‘national team’ environment supported by Swimming Canada with education sessions, sport science, equipment, logistics and staff.

PARA PROSPECTS WEST CAMPSwim Alberta, Swim BC, Swim Saskatchewan, and Swim Manitoba are partnering to provide an educational and training development opportunity to para-swimmers from across the four Western Canadian provinces. Swimming Canada National Para Head Coach, Vince Mikuska, will be leading the camp, with other guest speakers and sport specialists also in attendance to provide mentorship, information, and guidance for both coaches and swimmers.
