The Alberta Summer Games showcases the province’s best young developing athletes aged 11-17 in a multi-sport games. The Alberta Summer Games also offers many benefits to both the Host community and to thousands of Albertans who participate at local, zone, and provincial levels. Alberta Games provides young athletes an opportunity to celebrate sport involvement, and a setting to compete and further strive to attain their athletic potential. Since the first Games in 1974, thousands of Alberta athletes have participated in the Alberta Summer Games. 2018 GAMES INFORMATION Get the answers you need know about the 2018 Alberta Summer Games here: FAQ For other questions or Games information see the Alberta Games Website All participants must register for the Games prior to attending Zone Trials. The registration link will be available in early spring of 2018. ELIGIBILITY Able-bodied swimmers born from 2003 to 2006 and Special Olympic/Para swimmers born 1996 to 2006 are eligible to attend the Games. For full information please read the technical package. ZONE TRIALS All athletes MUST qualify for the Alberta Games through a Zone Playoff. Swimming Zone Playoffs for the 2018 Alberta Summer Games will take in June 2018. All participants must register for the Games prior to attending Zone Trials. The registration link will be available in spring 2018. Please see Zone Trial schedule below.
