The biggest event for Alberta Summer Swimming is coming to Edmonton August 16-18 2019 at the Kinsmen Sports Centre.
The Provincial Championships for the Alberta Summer Swimming Association is the most important meet of the season for these swimmers. There will be 1,200 athletes in attendance and over 150 coaches.
Swimmers qualify for this competition through Regionals which were held last weekend. Teams will be travelling as far as 8 hours to Edmonton from all over Alberta (High Level to Lethbridge, Hinton to Lloydminster).
A Coaching Seminar will be held at the Kinsmen Saturday, August 17 12-1pm. PD Presentation will be hosted by Erin Brennan (Mental Skill Coach) and the Alberta Summer Swimming Association (ASSA) Vote for Coach Representative who will have a seat on the ASSA Board of Directors.
