Time Standards
Provincial standards are used to determine qualification for provincial competitions. The Northern and Southern Alberta Provincials use the provincial time standard. The The Spring and Summer Championships use the championship time standard. Swim Alberta Cup uses the 13-14 female and 14-15 male championship standard as an open standard. The meet information package will outline the time standards required for meet entry. Please see the time standards page for more information.
Youth Recognition Program
The youth recognition program is an awards program sponsored by Esquire Wholesalers. Swimmers who achieve a qualifying standard based on provincial or national rankings will receive a T-Shirt that identifies they have achieved that standard. T-Shirts will be presented at several points through the swim season.
For more information regarding how the provincial time standards and youth recognition standards are determined please read the time standards process.
