Swimmers who meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in the Swimming Technical Package can qualify for the games, the ages for each category are outlined below.

Swimmers will be selected as per the Alberta Summer Games: Swimmer Selection Criteria. To be eligible for selection, all swimmers must complete the
Participation Online Registration by end of day June 11, 2023. Please read the Registration Process and Instructions to assist with this process if required.

Categories
Category 1: Year of Birth 2008
Category 2: Year of Birth 2009
Category 3: Year of Birth 2010
Category 4: Year of Birth 2011
Category 5: Para Swimmers (S1-S14) and Special Olympics Year of Birth 2001-2011.
