Swimmers

Swim Alberta works to provide a system where all swimmers have the appropriate environment at each stage of swimming that includes coaching, facilities, sport science and funding to reach their full potential. Swim Alberta provides athlete development programs through our tour teams and camps; talent identification programs and strives to support swimmers with the services they need in order to retain them in the sport.

Swim Alberta currently has over 10,000 registered year round swimmers comprised of 3963 Competitive Swimmers; 2400 Non Competitive Swimmers; 100 Varsity Swimmers and 1057 Masters. In addition, Swim Alberta affiliates and registers 3500 summer swimmers each year through the Alberta Summer Swimming Association.
